Beginnings

 

As the art teacher at SK I send a warm welcome to all the new and returning students and parents. I've posted a painting by Morris Graves as inspiration for the first month's theme which is farm to table. Fruit, vegetables, and flowers will be the subject matter as the students explore still life painting in a new room full of light, space, and beauty. I am grateful to everyone who has worked so hard to make this possible, and can't wait to begin!
