Oil Crayon Resist Drawings


After studying insects the first/second grade students used chalk to draw lines and then colored around them with oil crayon. After a lot of work they covered the image with India ink. Everywhere that the chalk was turned either black or gray depending on the dilution of the ink. Their work is beautiful!
