It was so satisfying for me to see a year's worth of student work come together in the miniature SK museum! I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. And it was a delight to see the puppets that we all put so much time into come to life in the exquisite stage that Saul made for us. Hopefully the SK art museum will be mounted to a shelf on a wall, and we can figure out a way to put plexiglass over the front so future students can enjoy the artwork completed during the first year in the new building.
Hearing the children sing so competently and beautifully under Adam's direction was wonderful. It was quite an amazing performance.
I will hang the "Billy Brown" drawings on the wall outside the art room. Take a look at them if you didn't get a chance during the event. They are beautiful!
Thank
you to everyone who helped me put things together in the mad rush when
we arrived. And thank you to Karen for organizing the details of the
event.
