Mythological Monsters

I read a book to the students in the first through fourth grades called Mythological Monsters by the artist Sara Fanelli. Because of the knowledge they have gained from Madame about Greek myths they were very familiar with all the creatures. They created their own with collage using cut magazine images and will soon give their characters Latin names and write a paragraph to describe them. The monsters they came up with are varied and imaginative.
