The first day of school!

This week we are using stones to create art. The children are painting them with water to bring out the color. For the youngest students it is good practice for painting. In other stations they are arranging stones in shallow boxes that are painted black, and in trays filled with black beans, to make interesting compositions which they will draw and I will photograph. A wonderful beginning in art at SK!
