The first through fourth grade students began work on our shadow puppet project by carefully studying animals and birds in books, and drawing them in their sketchbooks as preliminary work for their own shadow puppets. We have almost finished them, and soon we will began practicing a puppet play behind a shower curtain with a projected light.
