There are so many different kinds of lines and the children in kindergarten through second grade practiced drawing as many as we could think of: curvy, zigzag, detached, dotted, thick, thin, horizontal, vertical, diagonal, lines made with letters, hearts, etc. Then they made drawings using the language of line.
